October 17th, 2007 | by Jeniffer |

1) Exercise  (get your doctor’s OK first).  Commit to doing some form of exercise for at least thirty minutes, three times per week.

2) Choose to eat healthy food.  Choose lean cuts of meat, do not eat fried foods, eat fresh fruit and vegetables. For sandwiches, use whole grain bread.

3) Read.

4) Learn something new.

5) Call a friend, especially if you were meaning to call, but haven’t known just what to say.  Chances are they’ll be glad you called.

6) Stop one bad habit (i.e. smoking, or drinking excessive amounts of alcohol).  Replace it with a good habit (i.e. going for walks or spending time with your family).

7) Shut off the television.  Limit the amount of time you spend watching television.  You could be doing something interesting, or fun instead!

8 )  If you have children, go out and play with them.

9) If you love someone, tell them you do.  It’s so important, that they know.

10) Brainstorm ways that you can change something about your life for the better. Then begin to do so.
