Five Thirty Day Challenges To Trim Fat From Your Diet
October 20th, 2007 | by Jeniffer |If you’re like me, you could stand to lose a little weight. Also if you’re like me, the very mention of the word “diet” makes you groan inside.
I am going to suggest something a little different.
I am here to tell you of five challenges, which you may apply together, which will result in less calories, less fat in your foods, and hopefully, some weight loss for you!
1) Eliminate white potatoes from your diet. Ditto white breads and pastas. Grains are much healthier, providing the nutrition your body needs, plus adding the fiber you need to feel fuller, longer.
2) Cut all visible fat from your meat, including chicken skin.
3) Have one or two meatless meals per week. If you like, jump that up to one or two meatless days per week, which is what I like to do.
4) Eat a salad before dinner every day. You’ll eat less dinner, because the salad will fill you up.
5) Do not eat bread with your meals (unless you are having a sandwich). Bread on the side is a no no, especially if it is covered with butter.
Apply thses simple tips, one at a time, or jointly, and watch the pounds melt away!
As always, be sure to get your doctor’s ok first.
