The Thirty Day Makeover–Week Three
January 14th, 2008 | by Jeniffer |This week, you keep doing the good things you started for week one and week two.
By now, you should be feeling better. fitter, more proud of your home, and more positive in general because of the journaling.
Things should be looking up financially, and you should be getting an idea of what it is that triggers overeating in you, if you tend to do that.
As well, you may have even dropped a couple of pounds by now!
So keep on doing what is working, with the healthy breakfast, the healthy midmorning snack, writing down when, what, and why you eat, and having a healthy midafternoon snack.
Continue with the exercise you started., aerobics and resistance work. Both will help blast off calories, promote good heart health, firm and trim your body, and increase those feel-good chemicals in your brain to help ward off seasonal depression.
Don’t forget your multivitamin/mineral supplement each day, and write down daily things you have to be grateful for.
This week, be certain you cut all visible fat from meats if you eat them. It’s one way to lower the calories you consume, and take in less fat.
Also, do not drink any of your calories. No alcohol, and no juice.
Milk is ok, if it is skim.
Black coffee or tea. (You can use some of the milk in it, if you prefer it that way.)
In your home, get rid of things you have that have not been used in two years. By eliminating this type of clutter, you make room for the things you actually will use, including perhaps some new things.
Add the money you saved last week, to the total spent on mindless spending in week one. Continue putting away as much as you can, eliminating one more item from your list.
Do not spend that money.
Once it has added up, you can put it to use in a high interest savings account or GIC.
Keep up the good work!
You’re halfway through this already.
