For Those About To Blog–Final Issue

January 19th, 2008 | by Jeniffer |

This will be the final issue of For those About To blog.

After careful consideration, I have decided to drop the subject of blogging at thethirtydayyear.

Instead, I intend to focus on the site’s original premise: a place to go to get tips and advice on living the best, healthiest, most productive and happy life you are able to. Blogging may be a part of that, but advice on blogging is better found elsewhere.

Instead, this week I will send you off to people who know a lot more about blogging than I ever will, even if I had been at this longer than just over three months!

Here, then, are links where you will find the most useful information possible.

These are the people who really know what they are talking about.

Ready?

First up, I would recommend reading anything at ProBlogger., especially 31 Days To Building a Better blog if you already have one (http://www.problogger.net/31-days-to-buildinjg-a-better-blog/).

As well, check out their Blogging Tips For Beginners series, at http://problogger.net/archives/2006/02/14/blogging-for-beginners-2.

Every time I read ProBlogger, I learn something.

If you are using WordPress on your blog, which I absolutely, completely recommend that you do, you can find tons of information on using it at http://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

As well, http://lorelle.wordpress.com is always helpful to read.

Dumb Little man had an article awhile ago back, called Simply Said…How To Blog, which is another good source of blogging information. Find it here http://www.dumblittleman.com/2007/08/how-i-blog.html

If any of you know of other sites you would like to recommend, please leave a link in the comments section, and thank you for reading thethirtydayyear!
