Spring Body TuneUp Time!

The snow has melted, birds are singing–I even saw my first Robin of the year the other day!
All of winter’s mess seems to be leaving, and I have decided that the mess I did to my body (ie weight gain and not as much exercise as I would like to have gotten…besides shovelling the endless and heavy snow, that is!) should be leaving as well.
With that goal in mind, I have decided a thirty day Spring Body TuneUp is in order!
I’ll get more exercise, eat healthier (in winter I tend to eat too many heavy foods, such as huge family dinners with potatoes or pastas in them).
To help, I have printed out thirty (one for each day) Body Clutter Investigators from FlyLady (print out your own from http://www.flylady.net/pages/body_clutter_main.asp). These are designed to track your eating and exercise habits, including water intake, and whether or not you take your vitamins. As well, there is a space for recording your weight every day. I did this for a short time, and was amazed at just how much my weight fluctuated over the course of a week!
As well, I’ll be counting my calories (that’s what I do when I want to trim a bit of fat from my frame) and my steps, with the help of my handy pedometer.
I plan to do a weekly review on this, which will be laid out as follows:

(I’ll be saving my daily spare change in an envelope, plus whatever is left at the end of the week and bill paying, to purchase Something Fabulous for a bribe for getting in shape.)
