What can I say about May?
Here, as in nature, it has been a month of growth and abundance, with the launch of my first-ever series of guest posts on this site, seeing the publication of my own first-ever guest post on Never The Same River Twice, and seeing my stat numbers reaching toward the sky like never before!
The numbers were so high because several posts made it to Stumble Upon, including all three of the initial contributions to the series, the Achievers! My thanks goes out to all those who contributed so well to making this series happen.
One change for the site this month came as a result of last month’s change to the latest edition of WordPress. As I mentioned previously, I then discovered a PlugIn called Photodropper. Because of this wonderful plugin, I can now easily pick, point, and click photos onto the pages. May marks my first month where each post published has been accompanied by a photograph. Thanks to the people who developed WordPress, and the many plugins which make the lives of web publishers so much easier!
Another addition to my PlugIns was CommentLuv, which, when you leave a comment, will search for your latest post, and put a link to it beneath your comment. I blatantly and shamelessly stoled this idea after seeing how it worked at How To Be An Original.
Now, for May’s Top Five Posts:
1) Getting Started And Learning As You Go
2) 10 Ways You Can Improve The Wold Today
3) Gratitude Journal
4) The Five Most Influential Forks On My road To Happiness
5) Drive of Faith
I think it speaks volumes for the series’ writers, that all of the initial three posts from The Achievers made it to the top five for May!
As well, Gratitude Journal is once again still up there, a remarkable feat for a post which has never been on Stumble Upon. Much of the traffic I get from it is due to searches for “Gratitude Journal”. I hope once they are directed to my post, these readers find something of which they are seeking.
