About Me
My name is Jeniffer Karas.
I live in Ontario, Canada, with my family.
I have two great kids and a great husband.
Overall, my life is probably very much like yours.
Since you are here, I can assume that, like me, you have an interest in self development and self improvement.
Whatever you want to call it, we are all looking to improve our lives and therefore ourselves, in some way.
For me, this interest has spanned most of my life since adolescence.
Although I am by no means an expert, in the years since I have acquired quite a foundation of knowledge. I would like to pass that knowledge on to others, to assist them in their quest for a better life. The articles posted on this site represent the tips and tools which have worked for me, in my life, over the years.

About This Site
Thethirtydayyear came about because sometime last year, I began a series of thirty day “experiments”.
Each was designed to improve some aspect of my life, and tracking them for thirty days at a stretch gave me accountability for the actions I had promised I would take, and a strong feeling of satisfaction upon discovering that thirty days was enough to provoke a change.
Whether in altering habits concerning what I was snacking on, increasing the amount I moved in a day, or working on some piece of writing I was working on at the time, I discovered that the thirty day trial period would extend. The change had become a habit.
What I got to wondering about was, how much could I improve my life from what it was back then, by continuously adopting new habits.
Writing about and keeping track of these habits, was the birth of this website.
Since then, it has grown, expanding to include all manner of personal/self development information, different thirty day trials, and presenting in itself a new habit. Writing.
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy my habit of writing it.
